Sitara Systems is a spatial human-computer interaction (HCI) practice. We design the computational layer of public space — research-backed interactive systems for museums, ports, and flagship commercial environments, built for a 12+ year operational life. These are the works we point to.

Cleveland Museum of Art ArtLens Reimagined

For ArtLens Reimagined, successor to the museum's pioneering Gallery One: Sitara delivered the systems architecture — including who owns and approves AI-generated interpretation — and built the new content system and real-time platform beneath the gallery, with the mobile app as an accessibility affordance for every interactive.

Genesis House × Matte Projects Manifesting Marilyn

An exhibition celebrating Marilyn Monroe as a pioneering woman entrepreneur, for her centennial. Sitara built its interactive moments — kiosks and a wall that redraws visitors' wishes in light, every submission screened, and rotary phones that play her final interviews — and ran them daily for nine weeks.

A building-wide interpretive system of fifteen digital interactives, designed over two years embedded with Yale's researchers during the museum's generational renovation.

Five touch-free interactives and a content system the Port updates itself — keeping a port working to become the world's greenest publicly accountable to sustainability targets dated out to 2050.

Tate Modern × Anicka Yi In Love With The World

For the 2021 Hyundai Commission, Sitara built the artificial-life system behind an ecosystem of autonomous aerial machines inhabiting the Turbine Hall — peer-reviewed at SIGGRAPH.

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Zebrafish Display

477 3D-printed zebrafish, each carrying a donor's message in one luminous school. Years later, Sitara re-engineered the interaction layer from capacitive touch to NFC without replacing the sculpture.

Jenny Holzer × Hypersonic There Was A War

A four-sided kinetic LED sign carrying 131 eyewitness accounts of Syria's civil war. Sitara served as technical production partner to Hypersonic, helping put testimony in motion for the length of a museum run.

Replit Vibecon Technical Direction & Production

Technical direction for every interactive and installed element at Replit's inaugural conference — including three rooms of Sitara's own: Game Room, Sound Room (with DJ Benji B), and AI2AI.
