Description
Curtis + Ginsberg Architects was engaged by the zoo to fully reimagine the original 1930s reptile exhibition for the 21st century, working with the zoo's curator, keepers, and a wildlife consultant on themes and layout. The project received the NYC Design + Construction Excellence award (2008) and was named to NY Construction News' Best of 2007 list; the completion year above is inferred from those award-cycle dates as no explicit opening date was found in public sources.
