A $30 million expansion and renovation of the Sloan Museum of Discovery in Flint, Michigan, nearly doubling the museum from 58,000 to 107,000 square feet, reopened to the public July 16, 2022; exhibit design by CambridgeSeven and Peter Hyde Design, media by Blue Telescope, AV integration by Electrosonic, and fabrication by Xibitz across four new galleries (Discovery Hall, Hagerman Street Early Childhood Gallery, History Gallery, Durant Vehicle Gallery).

Description
The renovation added four new permanent galleries: Discovery Hall (hands-on science, including a touch-screen 3-D periodic table and an interactive automobile assembly line), the Hagerman Street Early Childhood Gallery (an interactive ambulance and a three-story treehouse climbing structure), the History Gallery (motion-triggered audiovisual "Story Stones" and Blue Telescope-developed AR/VR experiences, including a virtual tour inside a WWII M18 Hellcat tank destroyer), and the 11,000-square-foot Durant Vehicle Gallery showcasing regional automotive history in partnership with General Motors.
