Campus Modernization / Entry Experience — Getty Center
The Getty Center announced a campus-wide modernization in May 2026 led by Gehry Partners (arrival plaza and tram station), WHY Architecture (Welcome Hall renovation and wayfinding), and OLIN (landscape), with a roughly year-long closure beginning March 2027 and reopening targeted ahead of the 2028 Summer Olympics.
