Ornamentum — Brentwood Town Centre (public art site)

Ornamentum, a 6-meter-tall stainless-steel and aluminum public sculpture by artist James Nizam sited north of Brentwood Town Centre in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, was completed in 2021 as a City of Burnaby public art commission, with lighting commissioning, programming, and custom software by Eos Lightmedia.

Description

The sculpture, a large-scale polished stainless-steel balustrade formed into an undulating trefoil knot, is inspired by the wrought-iron ornamentation of Brentwood's older residential architecture.
