The Roots of American Music, a 5,000-square-foot exhibition at the Blue Ridge Music Center in Galax, Virginia, opened Memorial Day 2011; exhibit design by Ralph Appelbaum Associates, fabrication by Explus, developed with the National Park Service and the National Council for the Traditional Arts.
